Q: Are the estimates free?
A: Yes! We will provide a complimentary estimate for your job.
Q: Do I need to purchase the materials for the job?
A: You are welcome to purchase the materials, but it is not required. The Honey Do Guys have access to multiple vendors, local hardware stores and home improvement stores. We can pick up, deliver and install the materials needed for your project.
Q: Can I choose the material colors and manufacturers?
A: Yes! We leave the choice to you. You can pick the paint colors or the material color. You may chose the manufacturer if you wish. You can leave the selection of materials and manufacturers to us. We have multiple sources for materials and extensive experience in sourcing materials for construction projects.
Q: Do you charge by the hour or the job?
A: We do NOT charge be the hour. We give the estimate for the complete project. We have found that charging by the job is fairer to our customers.
Q. Do you have a minimum charge?
A: Our minimum service charge is $100. If your desired job does not reach the minimum service charge we can perform additional services.
Q: How do I pay for services?
The Honey Do Guys accepts payment by check, credit card, debit card, Zelle and Cash apps.
Q: When is payment due?
Payment for services is due upon receipt of the invoice. Unpaid invoices over 30 days are accessed a 15% late fee. For some jobs, we may issue progress invoices or required deposit for materials. These payment arrangements will be detailed in your estimate.
Q: Do you work evenings, weekends and holidays?
A: Yes, depending on the job we can offer evening and Saturday service. Except for emergencies we do NOT work on Sundays. Please note we are closed for major holidays.
Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
A: You may schedule an appointment with us by calling or emailing the Honey Do Guys. Normally we have availability within 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the season.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes we are insured with a general liability policy.
Q: Do I need to be at home at the time of service?
A: It is not required. You may arrange for us to gain access to your property and we will secure it after we leave. For out-of-state clients we provide pictures on the finished job. Our philosophy is that we treat your home as our own. Also with the advent of wireless technology and cameras, we treat each job as if the technology is being used, even if it is not present. Subcontractors, if used, are thoroughly screened before the job begins.
